Edie Lune is a collaboration between friends, a collection of seasonally inspired, handmade books filled with original stories, recipes, and crafts created over the course of a year by Jessica Lewis Stevens and Michelle MacKay.  Edie Lune celebrates the wheel of the year with fully illustrated stories, thoughtful projects, and delicious drinks and bakes woven into the stories we tell. We are inspired by the work of the seasons, families at home, children’s play, place and memory, medicinal herbs, and the comforts of a life lived with heart.

Our winter story Mugwort Moon follows sweet sleepy Isabel as she wakes in the night by the light of the moon and embarks on an adventure that stems from curiosity and leads to safety and warmth in unlikely places.

Included in this issue: an illustrated original story, a recipe for beet hot chocolate, a recipe for chocolate + tahini moon cookies, instructions for an herb filled moon shaped eye/dream pillow, and simple tutorials for a few basic embroidery stitches.

The zine’s cover is printed on an antique letterpress with indigo blue ink on a thick cream cover stock. Each 28-page zine is hand-bound with hearth-fire red cotton thread.
