The second volume of the Sugar House zine includes twelve seasonal recipes for autumn and winter, including special occasion bakes like Henry's birthday cake, Chocolate Beet Cake, and Sweet Potato Pie, in addition to every day favorites like applesauce muffins and a special herbal chai blend for warming up any chilly morning.

Inspired by vintage community cookbooks and cookware, included are full page illustrations by Emily Halbardier, printed on a risograph with soy-based ink in Houston by The Center for Imaginative Cartography and Research. The covers are made from heavy-weight blue stock and printed by hand on an antique letterpress at my home in Vermont. Each book is sewn by hand with cotton sashiko thread.
